- 5 / 5By Clare GinnsFirst time ever visited this pub and we came across it quiet by accident, a lovely pub and a lovely welcoming awaited on entry, the landlord and landlady are quiet new to the pub but they made us feel so welcome and could not do enough for us as the gentleman with me was disabled. The food was fantastic, we had the Pie of the day, which is not a posh dish but it tasted so nice with creamy mash and fresh mixed vegetables not your standard Carrots and Peas thank goodness, other people in the eating area also commented on how nice the food was, we shall certainly be making a return visit.
